CU vs. Eastern Washington (Radio Broadcast) SAT 6 Sep 2008, 12:30 PM (PST)

This week’s game will not be televised, but CU (1-0) still faces a high caliber Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA) team, the Eastern Washington Eagles (0-1).  Although ECU lost to #12 Texas Tech this past Saturday by a score of 49-24, the Eagles are ranked #7 in Division I-AA and have the offensive power to score points on Division I-A opponents.

This game will be played at home at Folsom Field at 12:30 PM (pacific standard time).

Although this game will not be on TV, internet radio broadcast will be available for purchase via Yahoo!  Sports College Broadcast (cost is $4.95 per month per team – so if your signed up today, you would receive the next 3 CU games via internet radio).  Subscriptions renew every 30 days unless you cancel. The following week, CU has a bye week to prepare for Pat White and the #8 West Virginia Mountaineers (1-0) on Thursday 18 Sep 2008, 5:30 PM (PST).

Overall, the Big XII Conference is starting out strong, going 10-2 in the first week:

The Big XII is also considered to be the toughest football conference with 5 teams ranked in the Top 13 and 3 other teams receiving votes (including #42 Colorado with 3 votes in the USA Today Poll) (we moved up from #55!!!)
