Speedway Meadow, Golden Gate Park, 5 mile non-competitive walk registration begins 7 a.m. Rolling start begins 8-10 a.m.
San Jose, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2008
Arena Green, HP Pavilion, 5 kilometer non-competitive walk registration begins at 8 a.m. Ceremonial start begins 9 a.m.
The 2007 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk was our most successful to date, raising over $1.6 million thanks to 21,000 participants. Even in the heart of the football season, you can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Getting involved is easy. Visit the website below to create your own team or to register today with the Nor Cal Buffs. With no registration fee or minimum donation, everyone is welcome!

Participants have one of two options:
- Register individually
- Register as a team
- Where you will find the option to “Start a Team” or “Join a Team”
- SF walkers, please join our team under “Team Name”: NorCal CU Alumni
- SF walkers joining the NorCal CU Alumni team should contact Courtney Geesey directly to coordinate a meeting place, phone numbers, etc… at: courtneygeesey@gmail.com
Again, registration is free and there is no minimum to fundraise, so encourage everyone you know to join you! If people do want to fundraise, they can use the online tools available to them after registering to send out emails to friends and family members.
