The Buffs are slowly creeping into the Top 25 rankings. CU is currently ranked #28 in the AP Poll and #39 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Also note – CU’s two losses this season have come from two Top 25 teams [#13 Arizona State (6-0) and #21 Florida State (4-1)] and we have only improved since those two losses with three straight victories!
CU’s battle for the Big 12 North Division crown continues as the Buffs (4-2, 2-0) play in Manhattan, Kansas under lights against the Kansas State Wildcats (3-2, 1-1)! Both Big 12 divisions are wide open with Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, and Kansas State all having a legitimate shot to win the Northern Title.
K-State just lost their state’s bragging rights by losing to the undefeated Kansas Jayhawks this past Saturday. The Buffs avenged their triple overtime loss from last year against the Baylor Bears with a 42-23 victory this past weekend, but the Buffs still remember the 34-21 loss K-State handed them in Boulder last year.
In recent years, CU and Kansas State go back and forth, beating each other every other year. This year is CU’s turn!!!
