Colorado’s running game outscores Texas Tech’s passing game by a score of 31-26 this past Saturday! Texas Tech (6-3, 2-3) was a legitimate contender for the Big XII South Division, but just like the South’s previous two challengers that played CU this year, Oklahoma (7-1, 3-1) and Baylor (3-6, 0-5), they fell to the BUFFS (5-4, 3-2)!!! In all, the Buffs completed a clean sweep of their Southern foes!

Despite a heartbreaking loss to undefeated Kansas (7-0, 3-0) this past Saturday, the TV gods have blessed CU (4-4, 2-2) with another televised game this Saturday against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-2, 2-2).

For an unranked team, CU sure does get a lot of television time!!! (Thank you ESPN, Fox and ABC!)
CU (4-3, 2-1) is a half game behind the Big XII North leader, Kansas (6-0, 2-0), but a win this weekend against the Jayhawks would put CU back in first place in the Big XII North Division!
CU suffered a tough loss against Kansas State last Saturday in Manhattan, falling 47-20 to the Wildcats. Statistically the game was evenly matched but CU had 4 turnovers which lead to points on the board for KSU. Some gutsy 4th down calls also lead to turnover on downs and a blocked punt which added 10 points for KSU. On a good note, Hugh Charles had a career best 171 yards as CU’s running game keeps improving behind a nearly all freshmen offensive line. Inside Linebacker, Jordan Dizon, continues to have a record breaking season by adding 11 more tackles to his resume, making him the 5th highest player in tackles (375) all-time for CU.

Shannon Piro has organized a Wine Tasting bus tour to three of Sonoma’s most recognized wineries. With over 200+ wineries in Sonoma County, it was difficult to chose just three wineries.
